Honda e Electric Car – the environment friendly urban way forward

Honda has now revealed its production model of the electric Honda e in Frankfurt with its specifications and its pricing as well. First official pictures of this fantastic model have been released. This ‘absolutely zero-emission’ car is a part of the Japanese automaker’s plan of electrifying the whole line up by 2025. It has incredible features such as pop-out door handles with a digital key.

What is more included in this model? It has many more features such as 12.3-inch LCD touch-screen with an 8.8-inch screen as the driver’s instrument cluster. Other than this, personal assistance is enacted with “okay Honda “. Also, with My Honda+ service and app, the users can monitor locations, security and they can have access to the digital key to lock and unlock the car.

Honda e has a high-powered electric motor which is equipped with two power outputs of 100 kW (136ps) or 113 kW (154ps), and also produces a torque of 315 Nm. It has a battery of 35.5 kWh which delivers a range of 220 km from a single charge while the fast charging ones have the capability to recharge 80% capacity in just 30 minutes. At an estimated 8 seconds, the speed reaches from 0 to 100 km/h.

The Honda e (134-hp) starts at £26,160 which is approximately €29,470/$32,300, and its much powerful version is priced at £28,660 which is almost €32,180/$35,300.
