Artists Took Miniature Food Photography to a Whole New Level

Paris based husband-wife duo Pierre Javelle, 43, and Akiko Ido, 41 initiated a series of miniature food photography, what they have named as Minimiam. The word ‘Minimiam’ itself is a mix of two words, mini and miam meaning ‘yummy’ in French.

The two artists have turned a pile of peanuts into an art gallery, eggs into a tennis court and donuts into a golf course. Ido emphasized that the elaborate miniature food photography invites viewers to look at things, “carefully, with respect and with attention.”
