This tiny box grows microgreens for you right in your kitchen minus the mess

A fresh, green living space provides a calming effect and is excellent for a person’s health. Having a garden in your home can be refreshing and revitalizing when you look at the pleasant looking plants early in the morning. But in today’s world where landscapes are being replaced by tall buildings and more and more land is being turned into a concrete jungle, greenery is relatively hard to find.

In order to bring a little more greenery in our lives, people must resort to bringing their ‘gardens’ inside the house, especially those who live in small apartments and are not left with much choice. In recent years there has been an influx in indoor gardening products with innovative features to make indoor gardening a whole lot easier. One such product is the new product called Cell One.

Cell One is primarily designed as a multi-shelved container that is supposed to sit anywhere in the house and produce micro-plants in a matter of days. Its Kickstarter campaign claims that the product can produce edible herbs, nuts, and microgreens right inside your home. These set of ingredients can be perfect for including in your daily diet to get the nutrition you need.

It features a cuboidal design with three tiers and a glassed top where the greens show up. The device has its water circulation system that provides the necessary hydration and a LED light that helps the plant get its much-needed light energy for growth. There are also sensors present to make sure that the water and lighting being provided are sufficient for the plant and not exceeding any limit.

To use it one must fill the water tank with water that will later be used for the growth of the plant and for the seeds the makers of Cell One include seed pods along with the item itself. These seed pods can be placed inside a tray of the planter, and the plant will take root from there. A total of six pods can be placed inside at a given time, and six different herbs and micro-plants can be grown in this. The seed-pods come with a simple peel and pop design and are organic, non-GMO, and completely untreated, which makes them entirely germinable.

There is no soil involved in this system, making it clean and effectively free of mess and less troublesome for owners. It also does not require any mobile application to function. Although, it does come with a Nutrition Assistant that can guide you on the knowledge of superfoods that can be included in your daily diet.

Cell One is set to retail at €399 once it finally gets released, but the company is offering it at more than half the price of about €139 if for an early pledge. A fantastic offer, indeed. If you feel like growing your own healthy and nutritious meals right at home, Cell One seems like an excellent place to start.
