Illustrator Creates Pop Icon Portraits with Typography Depicting Their Popular Hits

What happens when you combine three separate entities; pop icons, portraits and typography, together? This is exactly what the Canadian artist, Sean Williams did to create his unique art.

Williams started with portraits with the simple reason to expand his portfolio. He made Kanye West’s portrait with typography of hit songs. The artist then gained instant popularity for his unconventional illustration and since then has made portraits of many pop artists, including Beyoncé, Marilyn Monroe and Justin Timberlake. William has also commercialized his illustration project by transferring the portraits onto t-shirts. The outstanding silhouettes created by Alberta based artist has received a very positive response from his social media audience.
