Dubai’s Floating Seahorse Villas Take Luxury Living to Another Level
How would you describe a lavish living? A mansion with a view of a beautiful garden? Or, a semi-submerged home with a mesmerizing view of coral reefs, surrounded by exotic marine life and blue water? Kleindienst Group has clearly redefined lavish living for all of us with the launch of a floating home named as, Floating Seahorse.
The $2.8 million project is established in the Arabic Gulf which is right now a small addition to a larger establishment, “The Heart of Europe” which is basically a manmade reconstruction of European countries on islands located off the Dubai coast. The design firm, Kleindienst Group has invested 5000 hours of research and 13000 hours of engineering and design to create this ultra-modern floating home and we must say that the result is breathtaking in every way possible.

Floating Seahorse comprises of three levels, underwater, sea level and upper observation deck.

The completed Floating Seahorses have a very compact design with just a master bedroom, bathroom and an observation deck. The whole design is based on 270 square feet and is double storied, with the one story under the water and the observation deck above the water surface. However, the small space is cleverly constructed to look spacious and with the vastly spread out 500 square-feet coral garden one can barely complain about the constrained area.
The upper observation deck boasts a hot tub and lets you have a surreal view of the sea as well as the far-off coast of Dubai.

The house also incorporates a giant floating bed as well as a step ladder to help you get into the sea from the comfort of the floating bed. Of course, you can just dive into the sea as well if you wish to since the sea is just in your reach. However, the Floating Seahorse is not so much in reach from the coast hence the residents would have to cover a distance of 2.5 miles from the shore via floating jetties, boats or seaplanes.
Gigantic exterior floating deck lets you soak in the sun as well as enjoy breathtaking views.

A ladder is attached to the floating deck to allow safe entry and exit from the sea.

The Floating Seahorse has been a massive success, with houses getting sold out even before the official launch. The design firm is now moving forward with full force towards the designing and creation of bigger Floating Seahorses which will accommodate a total of 8 adults and 8 children each.
The larger versions of Floating Seahorses will incorporate four master bedrooms, bathrooms, several other rooms and on top of that, the homes will be completely automated. These space-age homes will be spread out on an area of 900 square-feet while the artificial coral garden will expand to a total space of 600 square-feet right outside the homes, giving the residents a beautifully clear view of coral reefs from the master bedrooms.
The design firm hopes to launch 40 of these homes under the “Signature Edition” series and currently 200 designers, architects and engineers from over 25 countries are involved in turning the whole idea into a reality. However, this reality will have a quite steep price with just one Floating Seahorse being priced at $12 million.
